A Mildura man has been charged with drink driving following an incident at the weekend.

Dareton Police said that at about 615pm on Sunday Police stopped a car in Adams Street, Wentworth for a random breath test.

The 29 year old Mildura man gave a positive sample and was arrested and taken to the Dareton Police Station where a breath analysis gave a reading of 0.135.

He has been charged with driving with a High range PCA and will be appearing before the Wentworth Local Court on the May 3.

He has also been issued with an on the spot licence suspension notice for his Victorian licence.

Last Friday at 9.15pm Dareton Police stopped a car on Punt Road, Gol Gol for a random breath test. The 25 year old Mildura woman gave a positive sample and was arrested and taken to the Dareton Police Station where a breath analysis gave a reading of 0.113.

The woman was charged with driving with a mid range PCA and will be appearing before the Wentworth Local Court on May 3 and  also issued with an on the spot licence suspension notice.

Then at about 1230am Saturday Police have stopped a car on the Silver City Hwy, Dareton for a random breath test.

The 40 year old Buronga man gave a positive sample and was arrested and taken to the Dareton Police Station where a breath analysis gave a reading of 0.158.

He has been charged with driving with a High range PCA and will be appearing before the Wentworth Local Court on the May 3

He was also issued with an on the spot licence suspension notice for his NSW provisional drivers licence.

The driver has also been issued with on the spot fines for the offences of Driving without his lights on and not displaying P plates.
