About midday on Wednesday of last week Police attended a Pooncare address and spoke with a 39 year old male.

Following those inquiries it will be alleged the male failed to comply with his obligations under the Child Protection Register  including failing to notify Police of his movements and failing to report in August.

He was arrested and later charged at Dareton Police Station with failing to comply with the Register obligations.

The male will appear at Wentworth Local Court at a later date.

The Child Protection Register (CPR) is a system established by a NSW Act of Parliament designed to monitor persons convicted of violent or sexual offences against children and minimise the chances of re-offending.
