The exceptional quality of tourism operators across NSW was acknowledged on the 6th October with the official announcement of finalists for the 2017 NSW Tourism Awards.

Managed by the Tourism Industry division of the NSW Business Chamber and supported by the NSW Government via Destination NSW, the NSW Tourism Awards celebrate and acknowledge tourism businesses that demonstrate outstanding achievement throughout the year.

The Trentham Estate Winery at Trentham Cliffs is one of the Finalists from the Riverina Murray region along with two Balranald finalists in Discover Balranald and Surrounds in the Destination Marketing category and Outback Geo Adventures in the Tour and Transport Operators category.

Chairperson of Destination Riverina Murray, Genevieve Fleming said the quality and diversity of the tourism industry in the Riverina Murray region is well represented by the great businesses that have been announced as finalists for the awards.

“It’s pleasing to see that some of the region’s leading tourism businesses have also been recognised as among the best in NSW.”

Winners will be announced at the NSW Tourism Awards Presentation Night on Thursday November 16 at the International Convention Centre, Sydney.

Winners from 25 aligned national categories will then represent NSW at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards on Friday February 23 2018 in Perth.
