The Lady Heat maintain their top spot on the Division One Women’s ladder despite going down to the Warrnambool Mermaids in a game played away on Saturday May 12

The final scores saw Warrnambool Mermaids take the win with 68 points against The Mildura Heat 61.

Next weekend, May 19th and 20th, the Mildura Ladies Heat have a double header, taking on the Warrandyte Venom on Saturday night followed by a game against the Whittlesea Pacers on Sunday.

The Division Two Mildura Heat Men’s team had a bye this weekend and also play a double header away next weekend.  The Men’s Heat will play the Sherbrooke Suns on Saturday night and the Altona Gators on Sunday.

Play returns to the Toyota Hothouse on May 26 when the Men’s Heat take on the Craigieburn Eagles at home.  The Lady Heat’s next home game is on June 16 against the Chelsea Gulls
