After a VCAT hearing set aside charges related to former top driver Daryl Douglas for an incident last November Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards have issued further charges against him.

Douglas has now been charged under two sections of racing rule 259, and three sections of rule187.

The allegations are Mr Douglas was observed by HRV Stewards working standardbred horses at a registered property at Deep Lead on 27 February 27 this year while under  disqualification and refused to answer questions, frustrated an inquiry on the day and refused to attend a further Stewards inquiry to answer questions surrounding the events on February 27.

The charges will be heard by the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be determined.
