Sunraysia Cricket Association (SCA) has advertised for a new administration officer following the recent resignation of Peter Hahn.

Mr Hahn said that his new business operation AV Trophies, which he purchased in early 2016 he found that the busiest times for cricket administration coincided with the busiest times for trophy presentations and his new business.

“I told the Cricket Executive of my decision some time ago and have offered to remain with cricket administration but as a Board member only,” Mr Hahn said.

A position on the Board becomes available this year following the resignation of Kel Liddle because of health issues.

Mr Hahn has been the administration officer for the SCA for the past six seasons, having taken over from Peter Woodford, who is now one of the district’s top cricket umpires.

Mr Hahn said he had earlier this year stood aside as President of the South Mildura Football Netball Club – a role now held by Mrs Raelene Johns, who became the Club’s first ever female President.

Mr Hahn remains as Vice President at South Mildura.

Applications for the vacant job as Administrations Officer with the SCA will close at the end of month.
