Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards have issued two charges against South Australian licensed trainer Aaron Brown relating to a race at Swan Hill nearly two months ago.
The main charge under Australian Harness Racing Rule 190 which states that a horse shall be presented for a race free of prohibited substances
It is alleged that Mr Brown presented ‘Misschanel’ to race at Swan Hill on May 9 2017 when not free of arsenic, a prohibited substance when evidenced at a concentration above the allowable threshold.
HRV Stewards have also issued a charge under AHRR 190B, alleging that Mr Brown failed to keep and maintain a log book.
The charges will be heard by the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be fixed.
Brown is a regular visitor at Mildura Harness meetings and was successful with the pace Heza Rummage at the meeting on Wednesday night of this week.
