The Sunraysia Football-Netball League will be counting the votes for the 2017 McLeod Medal for the season’s  best and fairest award at the Mildura Workingman’s Club on Wednesday night.

The Medal count will begin at around 9.15pm, following the counting of votes for netball’s main award – the Horkings medal for the best and fairest in A Grade medal.

Both these medal counts will be heard live on community radio HOT FM from 8.30pm Wednesday night.

Other awards to be counted are the Collihole Medal in C Reserve netball at 6.50pm; the Hickey medal for the best and fairest in the C Grade Netball at 7pm and the Walder /Hyder medal for B Grade netball at 7.10pm.

Other awards to be presented on the night will be the 2017 A Grade Goal shooter Award sponsored by Mayne Homes; the Bland senior goal- kicking award, the Reserves goal kicking award, the SFNL umpires of the year award, the Australian Football Coaches Association Coach of the year award , the team of the year will be announced for both football and netball along with the Holcroft Lawyers/Sunraysia Daily “Footballer of the Year” award, the Choices Flooring $1000 Club championship  and the Mildura and District Real Estate Rising Star award.

The Holcroft Medal for the best and fairest medal in the Reserve grade competition will be counted at 7.30pm.
