Young Mildura tennis player Sheree Moore has been selected to participate in the University games to be held on the Gold Coast later this month.
The 20 year old has been added to the Melbourne RMIT university tennis team to play from September 24-29.
Earlier this year she was selected to play for RMIT in the Southern University games against University tennis teams from South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria. The Southern games were held at Geelong.
Teams comprise five boys and five girls with Sheree Moore being ranked as number four player in the girls section.
Three new players were added to the RMIT girls team this year after the 2016 team finished in third place in the University games.
Last year Sheree Moore assisted the Mildura tennis coach by providing some coaching of junior players and was also a member of the Bambill Women’s Football team.
This year she has been playing both tennis and football with Diamond Creek in the Northern women’s Football League completion playing a mixture of reserves and senior games for the club
