Wentworth scored an upset win over Mildura in the only Sunraysia Football Netball game played in round 12 under windy conditions at the George Gordon Oval, Dareton on Saturday.
The Roos blasted the visitors in the first quarter with a hoist of goals by spearhead Joel Cullen, who had four goals to his credit in the early part of second term before established defender Todd Hughes replaced Tanner Deckert as his opponent.
At the other end of the ground Chris Wall was having the task on Anthony Mathews while his brother Andy Wall marked well despite the conditions
Wentworth led by 23 points at quarter time, 38 points at half time, 56 points at three quarter time and 50 points at siren time. It was win number two for Wentworth for the Roos this season.
Mildura had an early loss with Tom Seaman injuring his shoulder early and Ben Cammilleri coming off in the last quarter in groggy fashion after kicking his second goal for the day.
When Mildura sent Hughes well back in defence they lost his run and carry which meant in the third term coach Heath Caldwell was forced to help out in defence rather than midfield and forward.
Jordan McKinnon was goo on the wing with Colin Andrews again striking form for the roos along with veteran defender Matt Cameron.
