The Coomealla Club will be the venue for the Mildura Motorcycle Club's 71st Annual Dinner on Saturday June 30th followed by the next meeting in the Winter Series on Sunday July 1st at Olympic Park.
In 2017, the Motorcycle Club along with the Coomealla Club celebrated respective their 70th years of operation. The relationship between both establishments goes back to the very beginning with both organisations continuing to go from strength to strength.
The Annual Dinner is an opportunity for Motorcycle Club Members and the general public to celebrate all things motorcycling at Olympic Park. Pre dinner drinks are scheduled for 6pm with dinner from 7pm.
Tickets for the dinner are available at the Merbein Tatts and News Cafe or Peter Oliver at MotoTech Mildura. The dinner includes a 3 course meal and a happy hour for $55 per person. Tickets are available until Sunday, so grab whilst they are still available.
Sunday July 1st will see the continuation of the highly successful Solo Teams racing format that is held in conjunction with Gillman Speedway at the Olympic Park Complex.
Eighteen solo riders have nominated so far, including 3 International riders, in former Aussie number #2 Justin Sedgmen, former British under 21 champion Robert Branford and Former Scunthorpe number #1 Ryan Douglas and New Zealander Jake Turner will vie for success.
Also on the day will be the Junior Racing for the Annual Jason Crump Shield from 10am. Teams Racing is scheduled for a noon start.
